Terms and Conditions for “Apply for Diners Club Ace $500 limit Credit Card and win up to S$100,000 Cash”
  1. The “Apply for Diners Club Ace $500 limit Credit Card and win up to S$100,000 CASH” (“Promotion”) is conducted by AXS Pte Ltd (“AXS”) and Diners Club Singapore Pte. Ltd (“Diners”) and subjected to these terms and conditions.
ELIGIBILITY:
  1. The Promotion is open to all Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents aged 21 years and above (“Customer”),
    1. who make bills payment via all transactional bill payment portal and Diners portal on AXS Station, and
    2. who initiate to apply and confirm the application of the Diners Club Ace Credit Card (“Ace Card”) on the AXS Station.
  2. Employees of AXS and Diners, advertising agencies of AXS and any other parties who are directly involved in the organizing, promoting or conducting of the Promotion are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
  3. AXS and/or Diners may from time to time in its absolute discretion decide on the eligibility for the participation in the Promotion.
THE MECHANICS:
  1. A Customer may earn lucky draw chances from the following:
    1. Every S$50 payment made via bill payment portal on AXS Station will earn the Customer one (1) lucky draw chance when he/she initiates to apply and confirm the application for the Ace Card.

      Applicable for payments of selected applications on AXS Station, as follows:
      • Payment of Bills (excluding Credit Cards; HDB, URA and Ramky Cleantech Services under Season Parking; HDB and IRAS under General; and HDB under Loans)
    2. Every S$50 payment made via Diners Club portal on AXS Station will earn the Customer one (1) lucky draw chance.
  2. There will be a total of 10 draws for this Promotion.
  3. One (1) winner will be selected for each draw.
  4. A winner may win more than one (1) Prize (indicated in Clause 10).
THE QUALIFYING PERIOD:
  1. The qualifying period for the Promotion (“Qualifying Period”) is from 4 December 2017 to 11 February 2018, both dates inclusive.
THE PRIZE:
  1. There will be a total of ten (10) prizes of S$10,000 each (“Prize”) to be given away.
ALLOCATION OF CHANCES:
  1. Allocation of lucky draw chances is as follows:
    1. Each Customer shall be entitled to one (1) lucky draw chance with every S$50 payment through bill payment portal if he/she initiates to apply and confirm the application of the Ace Card. The chances allocation will be based on per transaction and the transaction amount is not accumulative.

      Example 1:
      Customer A made 2 transactions on different days during the Qualifying Period.
      First transaction
      Customer A made a transaction of S$495 and he/she will earn 9 lucky draw chances.
      Second transaction
      Customer A made a transaction of S$505 and he/she will earn 10 lucky draw chances. In total, the customer will earn 19 lucky draw chances.


      BONUS: Customer will get 10 times of his/her final lucky draw chances if the application of his/her Ace Card is approved and if he/she makes three (3) transactions, excluding transactions perform on AXS channels, with the Ace Card before 31 March 2018 and the transactions are posted by March 2018 Diners Club Statement of Account.

      Example 2:
      At the end of the Qualifying Period, Customer A earns a total of 38 lucky draw chances. If his/her application for Ace Card is approved and he/she performs 3 transactions (excluding transactions perform on AXS channels) by 31 March 2018; he/she will earn a total of 380 lucky draw chances.

    2. Each Customer shall be entitled to one (1) lucky draw chance with every S$50 payment made through Diners Club portal on AXS Station. The chances allocation will be based on per transaction and the transaction amount is not accumulative.

      Example 3:
      Customer B made 2 transactions on different days during the Qualifying Period.
      First transaction
      Customer B made a transaction of S$495 and he/she will earn 9 lucky draw chances.
      Second transaction
      Customer B made a transaction of S$505 and he/she will earn 10 lucky draw chances. In total, the customer will earn 19 lucky draw chances for each of the 10 draws.


      BONUS: Customer will get 10 times of his/her final lucky draw chances if he/she makes three (3) transactions, excluding transactions perform on AXS channels, with their Diners Club Credit Card before 31 March 2018 and the transactions are posted by March 2018 Diners Club Statement of Account.

      Example 4:
      At the end of the Qualifying Period, Customer B earns a total of 84 lucky draw chances. If he/she performs 3 transactions (excluding transactions perform on AXS channels) by 31 March 2018, he/she will earn a total of 840 lucky draw chances.
  2. There is no limit to the number of lucky draw chances the Customer may be eligible for during the Qualifying Period.
  3. Lucky draw chances are non-transferable and cannot be combined with lucky draw chances accumulated by any other AXS Customers.
CONDUCT OF DRAW:
  1. The lucky draw will be conducted at 53 Mohamed Sultan Road #01-K1 Sultan Link Singapore 238993 (or such other venue as may be determined by AXS) on 30 April 2018, 10.30am (“Draw”).
  2. Ten (10) winners and ten (10) reserve winners will be drawn.
  3. The winners and reserve winners will be selected at random by means of a computerized or electronic system. The reserve winners are drawn to replace any winner subsequently disqualified.
  4. If AXS and/or Diners discover that the winner is not entitled to participate in the Promotion, AXS and Diners may at its discretion forfeit the Prize or reclaim it after award and then choose another winner from the reserve winner list or donate it to a charitable organization of AXS’ choice.
  5. All winners will be contacted through phone. AXS will attempt to make at least two (2) phone calls a day for three (3) consecutive working days to the winner, from phone number (+65) 6560 2727, to obtain their full particulars for verification purposes. In the event that AXS is unable to contact a winner within this period, AXS will choose an eventual winner from the reserve winner list.
  6. The results of the Promotion will be announced on AXS website (www.axs.com.sg) and AXS Station (AXS Services > Info/Promo) on 21 June 2018 (or such other date as may be determined by AXS).
PRIZE COLLECTION:
  1. AXS will notify the winners on the venue and period to claim the Prize by phone and post.
  2. The winners must collect the Prize at the appointed venue and within the stated period, and shall comply with any instructions specified by AXS. The winners must be present in person and must bring along the winning letter and NRIC for the collection of the Prize.
  3. The winners shall collect the Prize at his/her own risk and expense and is not entitled to any payment or compensation from AXS should the Prize be forfeited.
  4. The unclaimed Prize within the given period will be forfeited without any liability on AXS, and AXS may donate the Prize to a charitable organization of AXS choice if the price is not claim within 6 months from the date of notification.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
  1. The information and data collected will be provided to Diners for credit checks purposes.
  2. AXS and Diners reserve the right to use the names, identification numbers and pictures/photographs of the winners in any advertising and/or promotional materials and/or on AXS/Diners website without prior notice, or otherwise engage the winner in any form of publicity for AXS and/or Diners.
  3. AXS and Diners reserve the right to partially or completely cancel, terminate or suspend the Promotion for any reason without any liability whatsoever.
  4. AXS and Diners’ decision on all matters pertaining to the Promotion is final and binding. No further correspondence regarding the Promotion, these Terms or any decision made by AXS and Diners in connection therewith and/or the results will be entertained. AXS and Diners reserve its absolute right to determine an outcome and act as it deems fit in any dispute and/or issues relating thereto.
  5. AXS and Diners shall not be liable to any person in any way for any loss or damage howsoever arising from or in connection with the Promotion and/or any of the Prizes.
  6. AXS and Diners reserve the right at any time to amend or delete these Terms and/or any of the instructions or explanations at its sole discretion without prior notice. Any such changes shall be binding and will take effect immediately upon such amendment, change or deletion. Participation in this Promotion shall constitute acceptance of these Terms and any amendment(s) thereof.
  7. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
  8. AXS and Diners shall not be liable to the Customer for any loss or damage arising in connection with the Promotion, including any error in computing any lucky draw chances, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer/electronic system or equipment and any notice which is misdirected or lost in the post. Any queries in this regard shall be directed to AXS.
  9. These terms and conditions are governed by Singapore law and the eligible Customers agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts.
  10. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions and notwithstanding any terms herein, the consent of any third party is not required for any variation (including any release or compromise of any liability) or termination of the Promotion.
PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT
  1. The eligible Customers consent under the Personal Data Protection Act (Cap 26 of 2012) (“Act”) to the collection, use and disclosure of the eligible Customers’ personal data by/to the organisers, promoters or conductors of the Promotion and such other third party for the purpose of the Promotion and the eligible Customers confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by the terms of the AXS Privacy Policy, as may be amended, supplemented and/or substituted by AXS from time to time, a copy of which can be found at www.axs.com.sg.
