The qualifying period for Charge-N-Win IV Lucky Draw
is from 1 March 2003 to 31 July 2003. |
| 2. |
All Diners Club Singapore basic cardholders whose accounts
are in good standing (as determined by Diners Club Singapore’s
absolute discretion) will be eligible to participate in
the draw. |
| 3. |
Employees of Johan Holdings Berhad, employees and immediate
family members of Diners Club (Singapore) Pte Ltd and
Diners World Travel Pte Ltd, Advertising Sales Promotion
Agencies, Auditors, and Judges directly involved in the
lucky draw are not eligible for participation in the lucky
draw. |

One lucky draw chance will be given to the basic cardholder
for every accumulated S$50 Spendings charged to the Diners
Club Card by the cardholder and/or his supplementary cardholder
under the same account. |
| 5. |
All charges incurred during the promotional period must
be received by Diners Club Singapore from its establishments/fellow
franchises within the promotional period to qualify for
the draw. |
| 6. |
Proof of charge slips is not proof of eligible Spendings
for the purpose of this promotion. Only eligible Spendings
as reflected in the monthly Statement of Account shall
be included in the lucky draw. |
| 7. |
Diners Club Singapore shall not be responsible for any
delay caused by its establishments/fellow franchises or
postal authorities in submitting the charge slips to Diners
Club Singapore. |
| 8. |
“Spendings” shall mean all the charges processed
by Diners Club Singapore and incurred by the basic cardholder
and supplementary cardholder and reflected in the monthly
Statement of Account rendered to the cardholder(s) during
the promotional period. |
| 9. |
The following charges and/or fees shall not be classified
as Spendings of Cardholder and shall all be excluded from
the draw: |

Charges incurred under the Travel Management Plan. |
| ii |
Entrance and/or subscription and/or renewal fees. |
| iii |
Service charges and/or late payment charges. |
| iv |
All disputed charges unresolved as at Diners Club
Singapore’s processing date of the monthly
Statement of Account during the promotional period. |
| v |
All debit & credit journal entries. |
| vi |
Casino/Cash advances/access charges and/or cheques
encashing charges. |
| vii |
Stolen/lost/fraud Card charges. |
| viii |
Installments charges under Travel-Now-Pay-Later
and Buy-Now-Pay-Later schemes, which are reflected
in Statement of Account after the promotional period. |

| 10. |
Newly approved basic card accounts during the promotional
period will receive additional lucky draw chances and
bonus Club Rewards points. Further additional lucky draw
chances will also be award to basic cardholders for every
new supplementary cardholder. This is not applicable to
Business and renewal cardholders. Application forms must
be accompanied with full supporting income documents and
must be received by Diners Club Singapore within the promotional
period to qualify. |

New basic and supplementary cardholders approved during
the promotional period must effect at least 1 charge per
month to qualify for the additional lucky draw chances.
Basic cardholders must effect 1 transaction within 30
days of Card issuance to qualify for bonus Club Rewards
points. |
| 12. |
The total numbers of lucky draw chances given will be
reflected in the Statements of Accounts during the promotional
period. |
| 13. |
Basic cardholders may redeem additional lucky draw chances
with his/her Club Rewards points. Supplementary cardholders
may also redeem their Club Rewards points for lucky draw
chances, which will be allocated to the basic cardholders.
One lucky draw chance is equivalent to 50 Club Rewards
points. Cardholder must submit his/her redemption form
to Diners Club Singapore during the promotional period.
Club Rewards points, upon redemption for the purpose of
the lucky draw, shall not be refunded or exchanged. The
Club Rewards terms & conditions apply. |
| 14. |
The lucky draw chances assigned are neither transferable
nor exchangeable. |
| 15. |
Any basic cardholder withdrawing/resigning from membership
whether on his/her own accord or having his/her membership
cancelled by Diners Club Singapore for any reason whatsoever
at any time up to the date of the lucky draw shall automatically
forfeit his/her rights to the draw even if the chances
have been assigned. Resignation/cancellation/withdrawal
of membership by supplementary cardholder of basis cardholder
shall not disqualify the latter from the rights of the
draw of all the numbers assigned to the account. |
| 16. |
Diners Club Singapore reserves the right at any time
to withdraw, cancel or invalidate the number of excess/additional
lucky draw chances assigned to any basic cardholders,
and to amend any of these terms & conditions from
time to time without notice. |
| 17. |
Each lucky draw chance assigned will be give the basic
cardholder one chance to win one of the 5 Philips Plasma
42” Monitor (42FD9954/69S). Each prize includes
one Philip Video Cassette Recorder (VR730/55), 6 Heads,
multi system, Nicam/Hifi Stereo, one (1) year guarantee
and installation. |
| 18. |
There shall only be 5 prizes and 5 winners allocated
for this promotion. |
| 19. |
Each cardmember is only entitled to one (1) prize. |
| 20. |
All prizes unclaimed after a period of two months from
the date of the draw will be donated to an assigned charitable
organisation. Winner has to take delivery of the plasma
monitor according to the terms & conditions stipulated.
Any storage or additional expenses incurred will be borne
by winner. |
| 21. |
The prizes are non-transferable, exchangeable, nor refundable
for cash in part or in whole. |
| 22. |
Winner is obliged to participate in Diners Club publicity
materials pertaining to the promotion after the results
have been announced. |
| 23. |
The decision of Diners Club (Singapore) Pte Ltd on all
matters pertaining to the draw is final and no correspondence
will be entertained. |
| 24. |
The lucky draw will be conducted at Diners Club Singapore
Office on 17 September 2003, Wednesday at 12pm. The winners
will be notified by post, and results published in Diners
News & The Straits Times. |
